The Young Activist Club recently held a news briefing in Takoma Park to celebrate the passage of the county’s ban on foam polystyrene at food service places and the passage of the Young Activist Act of 2014 which restricts the use of polystyrene at restaurants and other food service places in the city of Takoma Park.
