(VIDEO) Takoma Park Woman and Her Alleged Lover Accused of Homicide
The wife of the man found dead in his backyard in Takoma Park last August appeared in court Monday on murder charges.
Larlane Pannell-Brown is being held on $5 million bond and is accused of conspiring to kill her husband, Cecil Brown. Her alleged lover, Hussain Ali Zadeh is also charged with first-degree murder in the case. He is being held on $3 million bond.
Montgomery County State’s Attorney John McCarthy updated in the media on the case.
Police say they found internet searches on Larlane Pannell-Brown’s phones relating to death including “what happens if you get tasered in the head” and “what drinks cause heart failure.”
Police found the body of Cecil Brown in his backyard off Colby Avenue on Aug. 4
During the investigation, police said they found a folder titled “Ali” at Brown’s home containing a life insurance policy on Cecil Brown with Zadeh as the beneficiary.
Additional information on the arrest was not immediately available.
