Takoma Park Police to Conduct Vacant House Checks During the Holidays
Takoma Park Police is offering vacant house checks to residents, free of charge. As the holiday season approaches, officers want to increase residents’ peace of mind while they are on vacation or out of town.
Officers will visit homes daily to inspect for suspicious activity, according to a news release.
The minimum period of absence is three days and the maximum is 30 days.
