Takoma Park Mayor Kate Stewart Discusses Priorities Under New Trump Administration (VIDEO)

Mayor Kate Stewart of Takoma Park recently issued a statement that Takoma Park is a “sanctuary city” after the recent federal executive orders signed by President Donald Trump on immigration.

Takoma Park’s sanctuary law prohibits city police from cooperating in the enforcement of federal immigration laws that could lead to the deportation of resident.
