Take Your Child to Work Today (Video & Photos)

Approximately 200 children participated in the County’s “Take Our Children to Work Day” program on April 24. Various County departments set up information tables around the perimeter of the cafeteria comprising a “career showcase” for participants.

County Executive Isiah Leggett kicked the morning off with opening remarks, followed by remarks by Assistant Chief Administrative Officer Ramona Bell-Pearson. The children then divided into different “tracks” as follows:

• Wellness/Health and Human Services Track
• Legislative/Environmental Track
• Technology Track
• Innovative Track
• Public Safety Track
