The Montgomery County School Board unanimously approved the appointment of Kimberly Boldon as Wootton High School’s principal at a Board of Education meeting Tuesday. Michael Doran served as Wootton’s principal for 12 years until he passed away last year. Boldon was appointed the acting principal following Doran’s death on August 24, 2015.

The Wootton boys varsity lacrosse team topped Quince Orchard Tuesday in a game that never had a lead change. The Wootton Patriots scored 14 goals to the Cougars’ 6. Phil Fabrizio captured some of the action at Wootton Field in Rockville.
