Sidwell Friends swimmer Gavin Springer won the 200-yard freestyle on Feb. 8 at the Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Swimming Championship, held at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center.  Springer swam the event in 1:38.29 minutes, setting a new Metros record. Related:
