Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett has announced an initiative to remind residents citizens they are required by law to clear sidewalks in front of their properties within 24 hours of the end of a snowstorm. Montgomery County’s Division of Highway Services suspended vacuum collection of leaves in the lower part of the County today and Wednesday to prepare its equipment for the Nov. 26 predicted snow storm. The County Department of Transportation’s Storm Operations Center will be activated early Wednesday morning.
