The Montgomery County Planning Board appointed Rose Krasnow, the former three-term Mayor of Rockville, as the new Interim Planning Director after Rollin Stanley resigned to take a position in Calgary. Rollin Stanley, who directed the Montgomery County Planning Department for the last four years, is resigning to head the Planning, Development and Assessment Department for Calgary, Alberta.
