There’s a new community developing in the city of Gaithersburg. It’s called Crown and it’s located off Fields Road right across from the Washingtonian Center. The first Crown residents have already moved into their new homes and the first business has opened its doors in Downtown Crown. And, there’s a lot more to come:

There is a new community developing in the city of Gaithersburg, just off Fields Road and across from the Washingtonian Center. It’s called Crown and recently the first residents have moved in and the first storefront has opened its doors for business in Downtown Crown.  MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports.

Gaithersburg leaders and senior staff joined Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and development representatives from SunBrook Partners, JBG Rosenfeld, Bozzuto Homes and other community leaders in a ceremonial groundbreaking for Crown, the largest mixed use development currently underway in Gaithersburg at the intersection of Fields Road and Sam Eig Highway.
