Daffodils are blooming and the birds are singing. Spring is in the air and that’s no April Fool’s joke. We spotted a great blue heron walking the perimeter of a Gaithersburg pond before spreading its wings in flight on the evening of March 31. A great blue heron is spotted along the water’s edge of a pond in the Quince Orchard Park community on March 10. Also swimming around the heron on this sunny and spring-like day, some turtles and fish. Take a look.
