In this MyMCMedia Extra video, former POW Everett Alvarez, Jr. addresses the crowd gathered for Montgomery County’s salute to its Vietnam veterans at The Universities at Shady Grove on Oct. 24th. Alvarez was the first American aviator shot down over Vietnam and was held a prisoner of war for 8 1/2 years.
