The city of Gaithersburg hosted municipal elections on Nov. 3rd for the positions of mayor and three open Council seats. MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke has the results. The newly elected leaders were sworn into office at a special meeting at City Hall on Nov. 9th.

Maryland Delegate Bill Frick is pushing state legislation that could end the liquor monopoly in Montgomery County.
