When asked about Question B at his November 5 press conference, County Council President Roger Berliner provided a history of the issue and explained why it is so important to Montgomery County.

In a letter dated Sept. 25, Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner declines an invitation by Lanny Davis, attorney for the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police, to a series of debates regarding the issue of effects bargaining, which will appear on the Nov. ballot as Question B. Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner met with the media at 10 a.m. on Sept. 24 for his weekly press conference. Berliner was pleased the County Democratic Party supports the Council on repealing effects bargaining.
