Montgomery County residents recently got to meet with police officers at local coffee shops across Montgomery County as part of a national event called, “Coffee with a Cop.” County Cable Montgomery’s (CCM) Susan Kenedy reports from one “coffee with a cop” meeting that was held in Damascus.

Montgomery County public safety officials and elected leaders attended this year’s Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce Public Safety awards ceremony just hours after the tragic shooting in Dallas. The Montgomery County Police Department is increasing patrols in a Germantown neighborhood following a murder there earlier this week.
