Montgomery County Councilmembers recently heard from New York City officials about a successful Universal Pre-K program that was implemented there. Councilmembers say it is their goal to implement Pre-K for all four-year-old children, and they are looking for the best way to advance this possibility in Montgomery County. Susan Kenedy reports:

Montgomery County Council presented a proclamation to recognize January as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month during their council session Tuesday. Councilmembers Tom Hucker and Craig Rice presented the proclamation to the agencies and people that combat human trafficking in the county.
