The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair opened back in 1949 when Montgomery was largely rural and agricultural.  The county has become more suburban, but as Montgomery County Councilmember Roger Berliner explains, the MoCo Fair shows us how we’re still holding on to those agricultural roots .

For many fair-goers, the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair is an annual event that provides entertainment for the whole family.  There are new rides, and popular food sure to whet everyone’s appetite. We spoke to some families who make the fair a yearly tradition.
