Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner discussed the transportation project to build a tunnel connecting NIH and Walter Reed Medical Center with the media at 10 a.m. on Sept. 24 at his weekly press conference. The project is projected to cost $87 million. The state recently provided Montgomery County with $40 million in funding.
