At a news conference in Ocean City this week, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan signed an executive order requiring all public schools begin after Labor Day, and end by June 15th, beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. With schools back in session, there are more pedestrians crossing local roadways. Many students walk to and from school as well to the bus stops, while others ride their bikes.
