Surveillance Video Catches Two Burglars in Bethesda, Police Say
Montgomery County police say two people broke into a Bethesda home and stole jewelry. Police have released surveillance footage in hopes someone can identify the culprits.
The theft occurred about 11:50 a.m. June 23 in the 5100 block of Hampden Lane, police said. The thieves entered the home through the front door.
A neighbor’s home surveillance system caught images of the thieves and their vehicle. A woman can be seen carrying a pillow case that she had removed from the home and used to carry the stolen property.
Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the Bethesda police district Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.
To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest or indictment. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
