Super Bowl Party to Benefit the Homeless
Montgomery County resident David Cornblatt likes to help people. In fact, he hopes to do just that on 2015 Super Bowl on Feb. 1.

Cornblatt, a.k.a Curley owns Curley’s Q BBQ Food Truck and is donating his truck and food to benefit Bethesda Cares– a nonprofit organization that helps people in need throughout Montgomery County.
Cornblatt said people can bid to win a Super Bowl Sunday party to feed 30 people.
“Super Bowl is usually a day we don’t have the truck out,” he said.
This time, however, he will have it out but to help others. He has volunteered at Bethesda Cares and said the experience was priceless.
“It’s really cool to interact with them,” he added.
According to Curley’s Q BBQ website, winning bid gets a choice “of our award winning Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jerk Chicken, or Gaucho chicken, served with slaw, crab scampi mac and cheese and 2 ribs! All sauces and paper goods are included.”
Cornblatt love for cooking started when he was 13. He grew up in Potomac, Rockville, and now lives in Germantown. A Couple of years ago, he sold his business and “Next thing you know, I had this truck,” he said.
When asked him what culinary school he attended, he answered CIMH.
“Culinary institute of my home,” he added.
