Summer Fun

Winter has  come and gone , Spring has come and almost gone , well thats except for the people with allergies then it seems like spring is here to stay. Why sit around  all summer in air conditioned houses and play on computers, tablets, phones etc when you can do the same thing outside  and use these things to write stories , and cover events and even make a music video. Yes MCM has enough  for you to do if you are 13 or many decades older. First we have Back Pack  Journalism which began June 17  for 2 weeks and then there will be 2 more 2 week sessions following.. This class is designed to  give 13-18 year olds the chance to go out and, produce, shoot, and edit  a short news package on just about anything the kids want to write about. To sign up and for more information about these classes go to this link:  https://archive.mymcmedia.org/class/backpack-journalism-3/

The next class we have beginning July 15 is the Summer Video Camp. .This  is a  really cool class because the 13-18 year olds get to produce, shoot and edit  their own music video, even though they might not be the actors they get to call the shots and put it all together. For more information on this 2 week class go to this link: https://archive.mymcmedia.org/class/music-video-summer-camp

Ok, so it seems like we kept you busy from today all the way through the end of July and its time to sit back and relax before school starts and vacations over.   Many of you go to the Montgomery County Agricultural fair which begins August 9  and runs through the next week. By the end of that  you have eaten enough fried dough, funnel cakes , kettle corn and just about as much fried ,grilled meat you can take. But why just do that at the fair and have to pay to get in. Why not work on our Mobil Production Vehicle. Sorry its only for people who have taken classes at MCM and are certified but others can take tours and see what they are missing. Not only do you get to see the parade but you can do that on top of the truck and get a birds eye view or the cool air conditioned inside of our production truck. For more information on that , yes we have another link for you to follow: https://archive.mymcmedia.org/class/mobile-production-vehicle/ and an added value is you get free admission to the fair.

So as you can see we have a lot of activities for people of all ages to enjoy the summer doing something different.
