Subdivision Staging Plan (Video)
The Montgomery County Council has begun work on a new Subdivision Staging Policy, which will set the tone for development in the future. The plan calls for tests to measure impact of development as well as the need for services. Planners predict 21% growth in households within the county so growth will be encouraged where infrastructure already exists. Future growth will include redevelopment of areas, increasing the mix, and attention to “walkabilty” and access to transit. Take a look.
