Students Invited to Racial Equity Forum in Gaithersburg
Montgomery County students are invited to share their thoughts on the county’s initiatives to create a policy for stronger racial equity and social justice in the schools.
Students interested can attend a meeting on Monday, April 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Gaithersburg High School’s Cafeteria; any student who attends can earn SSL hours.
The meeting will be hosted by Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro and Ananya Tadikonda, Montgomery County Public Schools’ student member of the Board of Education.
