Strathmore Presents Melodies of Brahms

The National Philharmonic will perform May 4 at 8 p.m. and May 5 at 3 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda. The program includes Brahms’ Schicksalslied, Alto Rhapsody and Symphony No. 4 with soloist mezzo-soprana Denyce Graves conducted by Piotr Gajewski.

A free pre-concert lecture will be offered in the Concert Hall at 6:45 pm on May 4; 1:45 pm on May 5.

Tickets are $28 -$84 and may be purchased by calling 301.581.5100 or online by visiting Strathmore website.

Young people age 7-17 attend all National Philharmonic concerts at the Music Center at Strathmore free of charge, making it easy for families to go to concerts together and for young adults to attend a live classical music performance with friends.
