Strathmore Presents Celtic Nights (Video)

Strathmore presents Celtic Nights: The Emigrants Bridge March 7 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda. Celtic Nights weaves together the lilting melodies and plaintive lyrics of the rich Celtic heritage. Celtic Nights is a unique show which features both the finest male and female voices of the Celtic world, showcased against a backdrop of expert dancing and musicianship.

Beautiful ballads and striking choreography form a vivid link with Celtic heritage. The story is told through soaring music paired with exhilarating traditional dance. The influence of the old music on what became American sounds – whether it be Bluegrass, Appalachian, Country and Western or the great songs and ballads, from Shenandoah to the songs of The American Civil War – will be a part of the Celtic Nights experience.

The cast of three male vocalists and three beautiful female singers will leave the theatre ringing with the sounds of Celtic Music old and new.
