Storm Pushes Back Trash, Recycling Collection Schedule in Rockville
Recycling and trash collection in the city of Rockville will not take place Thursday since the Montgomery County’s transfer station is closed due to the winter storm.City recycling and trash collections did not take place Monday for the Presidents Day holiday causing collections to slip by a day. Collections are now scheduled as follows:
- Collections are now scheduled for Friday for customers whose usual collection day is Wednesday.
- Collections usually scheduled for today (Thursday) are now scheduled for Saturday.
- Any special collections scheduled for Thursday are now scheduled to be collected on Friday.
- Friday’s scheduled special collections are now scheduled to be collected on Saturday.
