Sting and Paul Simon Headline Duke Ellington Arts Fundraiser

Duke Ellington School of the Arts presents Sting with special guest Paul Simon at a fundraiser on March 12 at the Strathmore Music Center Concert Hall. A surprise guest is also expected.

The Performance Series of Legends is the signature fundraising event for the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Now in its 7th year, this annual event has previously featured legends such as Patti LaBelle, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Denyce Graves, and Dave Chapelle.

The Duke Ellington School of the Arts is celebrating “40 Years of Being the Difference.” DC’s premier arts and academic high school, Ellington continues to successfully educate young people for the 21st century–in and through the arts. The talented and award-winning young artists of Ellington will also perform at the benefit concert event.
