Starr Talks About School System Resources and Successes (Video)
MCPS Superintendent Dr. Joshua Starr visited the new Wilson Wims Elementary School in Clarksburg to talk about the county’s 202nd school on the first day of the 2014-2015 school year Aug. 25.
Starr recapped last year’s successes including the fact that half the school system’s graduates got a college-ready score on an Advanced Placement exam and the graduating class earned $340 million in college scholarships, a record amount for the county’s students.
