Spring break is just around the corner and thanks to daylight saving time, there are now more sunny hours in the day to enjoy being out and about in Montgomery County. MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports that the recent springlike weather is a boon for some area businesses too.

A sure sign of spring: the Washingtonian Paddle Boats (WPB) company has launched its vessels onto the water at the Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg. Alexis Frager of WPB tells us that the spring-like weather is good for business. She said the swans tend to be the most popular vessels and there are also assorted colored dragons and pink flamingos to enjoy. You can rent the character boats for $20 a half hour.
