Spirit Back At Plex Against Portland Saturday

The Washington Spirit arrive back home to play the Portland Thorns FC on Saturday at 7 p.m. 

“I am excited we are coming home for two games starting with hosting Portland this weekend,” said head coach Mark Parsons. “The schedule has been tough and I am very proud of every member of this team and the progress we have made. Our focus is on us being the best we can be and show our fans how important their support is to us. I believe we are going to come out with a real urgency and desire to dominate this game and show we are top team.”

Earlier this month, the Spirit played an even match against the Portland Thorns FC. The Spirit will be playing to maintain their second place ranking in front of their hometown fans.
