Speeding on N. Horners Ln in Rockville? You Will be Ticketed!

A new speed monitoring system on N. Horners Lane in Rockville kicks in August 3rd.  Drivers exceeding the 25 mph speed limit by 12 mph will be cited.

The Rockville City Police Department deployed a speed monitoring system in the 500 block of N. Horners Lane to reduce the number of speeding vehicles in the city of Rockville.

Both portable cameras and mobile vans are being used.

The system was fully functional in July but no citations were issued during the phase-in.
