SoulCycle to Open Bethesda Studio on Dec. 18 (PHOTOS)

UPDATED soulcycle1Fitness fans take note: SoulCycle, the country’s full-body indoor cycling studio, will open a Bethesda studio next week at 4931 Elm Street.

The new Montgomery County location is scheduled to open on Dec. 18 just a few months after SoulCycle opened the doors to its first D.C. area ride at its M Street studio this past summer.

“The response in D.C. has been simply incredible,” said Julie Rice, SoulCycle founder. “The SoulCycle community has built so quickly and we are thrilled to expand our SoulCycle footprint in Bethesda. After Bethesda, we will open at least two more studios in D.C. near 14th Street and Arlington.”

According to a company news release, the Bethesda location features a 53-bike studio, for the signature SoulCycle workout. Additional rider amenities at the Bethesda studio include male and female locker rooms, each with three showers and multiple bathrooms.

“We created SoulCycle to bring joy to exercise,” said Elizabeth Cutler, SoulCycle founder.
