Some Weekend Treats If You Missed Out on Halloween

Thursday’s weather may have gotten in the way of your trick-or-treating plans, but here’s a list of other Halloween-themed activities going on this weekend:

Story District’s Horror Show: Story District is coming to the AMP at Strathmore Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. Join them for a night of eight hilarious, real-life horror stories. Story District brings great storytellers from the Washington, D.C. metro area. At AMP by Strathmore, 11810 Grand Park Ave., North Bethesda. $18-$26. Click here for more information. 

Strathmore at Bel Pre Hosts Trunk or Treat: From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 2, the Strathmore Bel Pre will have Trunk or Treat! Families can drive to the pool and pop open their car trunks with candy inside for trick-or-treating. 13920 Bethpage Lane, Aspen Hill. Free. Click here for more information. 

Tula’s Halloween: Join Queen Tula and her friends for a lively drag show followed by a Grand Foyer Disco. The event also offers a raffle and costume competition judged by the queens. Dates and times are Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. At The BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown. $25-$45. Click here for more information. 

Sunday Funday: A Halloween-Themed Event: Looking for a family-friendly Halloween celebration? Head to Wheaton Veterans Urban Park on Nov. 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a Sunday Funday Halloween-themed event! Activities includes a Halloween costume contest, pumpkin painting, and balloon sculptures. 11200 Amherst Ave., Wheaton. Free. Click here for more information.
