Pritchard Music Academy, located in the Kentlands, has already rolled out the welcome mat, literally, for this Saturday. The blue-and-white door mats are popping up at entrances of area stores getting ready for the third annual shopping promotion, part of a national campaign founded by American Express.
Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is another day, one dedicated to the businesses that boost the economy and invigorate neighborhoods in Montgomery County and across the country. It’s Small Business Saturday, and it’s happening this Saturday, November 24th.

Last year, over 100 million people came out to shop at independently-owned small businesses on the day.
