Slippery Roads Possible for Monday Evening, Tuesday Morning Commutes

Montgomery County is under a National Weather Service (NWS) winter weather advisory Monday afternoon from 4 p.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday morning. The advisory includes areas north and west of Montgomery County.

NWS says that Monday afternoon, a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain is expected as early as 4 p.m. Up to two inches of snow and 0.1 inches of ice is possible.

The winter weather advisory means that slippery road conditions are possible for the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commute. Be sure to slow down when traveling and be careful when walking outside on slippery surfaces. Sidewalks and drieways could be icy and slippery.
