Single-Vehicle Wreck Turns Fatal
Montgomery County Police Department-Collision Reconstruction Unit detectives are investigating a fatal, single-vehicle wreck Saturday on Montrose Parkway in Rockville, a police statement said.
About 1:42 p.m., Bethesda police district officers, as well as Fire and Rescue personnel, responded to a wreck at Montrose Parkway near East Jefferson Street, police said.
After a preliminary investigation, police believe a 2012 Toyota Highlander, traveling east on Montrose Parkway, left the roadway and struck a light pole, the statement said. The driver and six passengers all were taken to local hospitals.

The driver, identified as Bartilyn Seneh, 30, of Appleton Place in Frederick, was taken to a local hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The front seat passenger, identified as Rose Priscilla Ivy, 79, of Durham, North Carolina, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries; she died of her injuries Saturday night, police said.
A 33-year-old female passenger was taken to a local hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The four remaining passengers — two 3-year old females, a 10-year-old female and a 13-year-old female — were all taken to local hospitals with minor injuries, police said.
