Silver Spring Swings (Photos)

The Silver Spring Summer Concert Series kicks off July 11 with the Red Harmonica Man, Bruce Ewan performing the blues. The free concerts are Thursday evenings at Veterans Plaza July 11 through August 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. Veterans Plaza is located at Ellsworth Dr. and Fenton St. Performances are canceled only if it is raining at 7 p.m.

Concerts feature a raffle with prizes for children and adults. Attendees can bring a picnic or enjoy food from one of the many nearby restaurants.

Parking is available within a short walking distance at Town Square Garage (Garage 61)
