Silver Spring Restaurant Manager Discusses Potential Indoor Dining Suspension

On Wednesday, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich announced that the county plans to suspend indoor dining to try to curb the COVID-19 case surge.

If Elrich’s directive is approved by the council, it will go into effect Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. MyMCM spoke with William Rawls, general manager at All Set Restaurant & Bar in Silver Spring, about what the restriction would mean for the establishment.

Other changes Elrich proposed include limiting retail capacity to one person per 200 square feet; 150 people maximum. Indoor sports would be limited to 10 people maximum, to include all players and non-players, and outdoor religious gatherings would be limited to 25 people unless the facility gets approval from the health department.
