Silver Spring Touts Highest Early Voting Turnout in State on Saturday

earlyvoting1UPDATED More early voters cast their ballots at the Silver Spring Civic Building on Saturday than any where else in the state, according to the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

A total of 935 voters cast their ballots early at the Silver Spring Civic Building on Saturday. The Lawton Community Recreation Center was the second busiest early voting center in Montgomery County on Saturday with 539 ballots cast early. The Activity Center at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg was third with 438 ballots cast early.

Early voting continues at ten locations across the county from now thru April 21.

The centers are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There were 3,946 ballots cast early in Montgomery County on April 16. Here’s a breakdown of the early voting turnout on Saturday, which was Day 3 of early voting:
