Silver Spring Library Book Drop to Close on April 12

The new Silver Spring Library is under construction.

In preparation for opening the new Silver Spring Library, the former library site will close its book drop on Sunday, April 12.

Because there is no book drop available at the new Silver Spring Library location until the facility opens, materials can be returned to any other Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) branch.

For assistance in managing accounts during the closed period, customers can call Ask-a-Librarian at 240.777.0001, speak to staff at any other MCPL branch library or review information on the MCPL blog at http://silverspringlibrarymcpl.blogspot.com.

Customers are reminded that they may use other nearby branches, such as Long Branch, White Oak, Wheaton or any branch that may be convenient. A list of all branch hours and locations can be found at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/library.
