Silver Spring Family Escapes House Fire

A Silver Spring family escaped from their burning house thanks to a smoke alarm Wednesday morning.

According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer, the fire at 1213 Noyes Dr, Silver Spring caused significant damage to the home but nobody was injured in the blaze.
