Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board Meeting Recap (PHOTOS)
The Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board held its monthly meeting on Feb. 10 at the Silver Spring Civic Building.
At the top of the agenda, Montgomery County Councilmember Hans Riemer who told the Board that the Council’s number one priority remains the need to obtain state funds for school construction.
During his remarks, Riemer said he believes there is a shortage of green space in Silver Spring and he noted that he is looking into the idea of a Silver Spring Central Park.
Other topics on the SSCAB agenda included updates on development projects, including the Parks at Walter Reed (www.walterreedtomorrow.com) and White Oak.
