Silver Alert Canceled for Montgomery County Man

This morning, detectives located a Montgomery County man who was missing from the 1700 block of Hutchinson Lane in Layhill.

George Harmon Calvert, 78 years old, was last seen yesterday at approximately 3:00 p.m., as he was dropping off his wife in northwest Washington, D.C.

Montgomery County detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are asking the public’s help in locating a missing Montgomery County man.

According to police, George Harmon Calvert, 78 years old, was last seen on April 29 at approximately 3p.m., as he was dropping off his wife in northwest Washington, D.C.

Calvert has early signs of dementia and does not have his medication with him, police said. He is described as a white male, 5′, 8″ tall, and weighing 175 pounds. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Police said he was driving a red, 2010 Honda CRV with Maryland tags, 50619MO.

A Silver Alert has been issued regarding his disappearance.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of George Harmon Calvert or the red Honda CRV, they should contact police immediately.
