The Town of Kensington celebrated the holiday weekend with it’s 48th Annual Labor Day Parade and Festival on Monday, Sept. 7.

The parade began at St. Paul Park and traveled down Connecticut Avenue toward Town Hall. Marching bands from area schools, equestrian show groups, dance groups and floats filled the streets with music. Local, state and federal officials joined in the parade. Local churches, schools, businesses and nonprofits were also represented.
