“Shop With A Cop” Starts Friday

Montgomery County Police are offering the, “Shop with a Cop,” holiday safety initiative again this year. It begins the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 26, and will run through Thursday, December 23. “Shop with a Cop” was developed to help increase the safety of shoppers, pedestrians, and drivers in the county during this active holiday season.

Officers will be detailed to shopping areas provide high visibility, extra security, and to provide reminders about driving and pedestrian safety, particularly in in parking lots.

Locations selected for the “Shop with a Cop” initiative include: the Congressional Shopping Center on Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Westfield Wheaton, the Milestone Shopping Center in Germantown, Lake Forest Mall, Gaithersburg Square and the Off-Price Shopping Center in Gaithersburg.
