Shady Grove Access Bike Path
Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will celebrate the completion of the Shady Grove Access Bike Path that provides a safe pathway for bicyclists and pedestrians to the Shady Grove Metro Station, and a connection to other area sidewalks and bikeways on July 29.
The new, 10-foot bike path extends nearly a mile from Shady Grove Road to Redland Road along the east side of the WMATA Metro Access Road.
Joining Leggett will be bike activists, including Gregory Billing, the Washington Area Bicyclist Association advocacy coordinator.
