At least seven people, including two children, were transported to a local hospital following a crash that involved a school bus and a truck Monday morning in Germantown, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson, Pete Piringer.

Officers from Montgomery County Police Department and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews responded to the intersection of Gunner Branch Road and Frederick Road for the report of a three-vehicle collision, involving a truck, a special needs school bus, and a passenger car.

Officials said lanes in both directions are open on Frederick Road at Gunner Branch Road, but drivers should expect residual delays from the incident.
