Serious Collision on Southbound Route 29
This just in from Montgomery County police at 5 p.m. on Feb. 22: a serious collision southbound Route 29 between Briggs Chaney Road and the ICC.
According to police, this is a five vehicle collision and three people have been transported with serious injuries. Police said only one lane is getting through southbound Route 29, south of Briggs Chaney Road.
Vehicles can exit southbound Route 29 at Briggs Chaney. Avoid the area if possible.
The accident scene was cleared by 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22. So far, no word on charges or injuries.
Collision update: All lanes are now open on Route 29.
