Senior Connection Gets New Director

Timothy Shaw is the new executive director for Senior Connections, the organization announced recently.

Shaw replaces retiring Executive Director and Founder, Sue Dollins.

“I cannot begin to express how pleased I am that the Board of Directors found Timothy,” Dollins said in a release. “His wealth of knowledge, background and personality are what The Senior Connection needs going forward and I am happy to leave the organization in his capable hands.”

Dollins retires after 20 years with the organization.

“I’m excited to return to traditional grassroots nonprofit work with The Senior Connection, and join all of the dedicated staff and volunteers who provide such a vital function in the county. With the senior population trending to become the largest segment in the next decade, there is no better time for The Senior Connection to lead the way in services. I look forward to working with all of the staff, volunteers and county stakeholders in continuing Sue’s work and taking The Senior Connection to the next level,” Shaw said in a release.
